I keep coming back to the same thought: Babylon TBV is being sold like a cleaner bridge, but it is really asking two completely different systems to understand each other perfectly.
Bitcoin holds the collateral. Ethereum decides what happens to the loan.
Somewhere in the middle, that decision has to be translated without delay, confusion, or failure. That is where I get nervous. The shiny story is native BTC in DeFi.
The hidden risk is that one wrong signal or slow liquidation can turn the whole thing into a game of broken telephone with real money on the line. I like the idea, but I do not think the market is asking the uncomfortable question yet: what happens when the translation fails?
