I've watched too many market cycles unfold for that.
Every cycle has its favorite narrative. ICOs promised to reinvent fundraising. DeFi was supposed to replace traditional finance overnight. NFTs would change digital ownership forever. Then came GameFi, AI, modular chains, and countless Layer 1s that claimed to be the next breakthrough.
Some genuinely pushed the industry forward.
Most simply rode the hype until the market moved on.
That's why my first reaction to Babylon (BABY) was skepticism.
"Another Bitcoin narrative," I thought.
