#baby $BABY I was looking into Babylon TBV and one thing that caught my attention was actually pretty simple: your BTC isn’t just thrown into one big shared pool with everyone else’s. Each depositor has a separate Bitcoin output.
At first, this might sound like a small technical detail, but I think it changes how you look at the whole idea. If Bitcoin is going to be used in DeFi, I’d personally want a setup where I’m not simply handing my BTC to someone else and hoping they manage it properly.
That’s what I find interesting about Trustless Bitcoin Vaults. The goal isn’t just to make BTC useful in DeFi. It’s about doing that while keeping the ownership structure much closer to Bitcoin’s self-custody model.
Small design choice, but maybe a pretty important one.
