@BabylonLabs_io I'm watching Babylon, but I'm not in a rush to call it the future. I'm waiting to see what people keep believing once the first wave of excitement fades. I've been noticing that the more I read, the less I'm thinking about Bitcoin itself. I keep thinking about people.
The idea is interesting, but what stays in my mind isn't the technology—it's the behavior around it. Trust is easy to talk about when everything is working. The harder question is what happens when incentives change, expectations grow, and everyone starts assuming the system is stronger than it has actually been tested to be.
Maybe I'm overthinking it. Maybe I'm not. I just know that the longer I watch, the more I realize that strong systems don't only depend on good design. They also depend on people continuing to do the right thing when nobody is forcing them to.
I'm still watching, because that's the part I don't think anyone can really measure yet.
