I keep thinking about Babylon because the project is trying to solve something genuinely important: giving Bitcoin a productive role without forcing it to leave its native environment.

That is a big idea, and probably the strongest part of the story.

But I also keep wondering how much of the excitement is coming from the product itself and how much is simply the market chasing another BTCFi narrative.

More integrations and more Bitcoin locked look impressive, but real strength will come from developers building on it, users returning, and fees growing without endless incentives. Babylon has built a powerful bridge.

Now it has to prove people actually need to cross it.
