AI trade entering its hardest phase to make money.

Not because growth is slowing—semis expected +133% YoY earnings in Q2.

Problem: when everyone knows earnings will crush, "good" stops being good enough.

$MU bounced ~4.7% today. One green candle doesn't confirm reversal.

What matters next: can it hold support on the next retest?

If $MU / $SK Hynix double-bottom without breaking lows + $SMH stabilizes → washout likely nearing end.

But this logic applies beyond AI.

$BTC facing the same setup: plenty of long-term bull thesis, zero fresh liquidity catalyst.

Gold too: geopolitical bid vs. rate headwinds = valuation cap.

All four markets answering the same question:

How much of "the future" is already priced in?

My playbook:

• AI: skip first bounce, wait for retest confirmation
$BTC: no bottom calls, wait for relative strength
• Gold: ignore headlines, watch real rates

Biggest setups don't come when news is loudest.

They come when bad news stops moving price lower.

Next phase, I'm watching one signal only:

Who shows "bad news, no dump" first—that's where I dig.
