I think Newton becomes harder to understand when people just call it another AI crypto project.

The better way to look at it is by comparison. Olas is more about agent marketplaces. Chainlink CRE is closer to offchain workflows. Pyth and Chainlink feeds focus on data. Gelato handles automation. Ritual, Phala, and Secret are nearer to AI compute or private execution.

Newton does not need to win every one of those categories.

Its real question is simpler: can it become the layer that checks whether an automated action should be allowed before it reaches the contract?

That is not as loud as “AI trading,” but it may be more useful. Agents still need data, execution, privacy, and marketplaces. Newton’s role could be the checkpoint between all of them.

My takeaway: Newton is not trying to be the whole stack. It is trying to be the permission layer that keeps the stack from acting blindly.
