In engineering, we don’t build bridges hoping they’ll stand; we calculate the load they can carry. I’ve started applying that same logic to $BTC this April.
The Current Load Test: BTC is currently hovering around $76,000. While the "moon" posters are shouting about $100k, my risk analysis says we need to look at the foundations:
The $75,500 Support: This is our structural baseline. If this breaks, the "structural integrity" of this rally is compromised.
The Whale Factor: We just saw a massive liquidation of late longs. This is a reminder that in 2026, institutional liquidity (ETFs) moves the market, not just retail hype.
My Rule of 50: Just like my rule for Micro-caps (No shorts under $50M MC), I apply a 50% Margin Safety Rule to my BTC futures. If I can't survive a flash-crash to the next major support, the position is too heavy.
My Advice for 2026: Don't let "Unrealized Gains" make you feel like a genius, and don't let "Unrealized Losses" make you a gambler.
