💰 Up to $160 billion could flow into Bitcoin—from just one bank

📊 Morgan Stanley manages approximately $8 trillion in assets for wealthy clients. The firm recommends allocating 0% to 4% of portfolios to Bitcoin.

Phong Le, CEO of Strategy, estimates that if the average allocation reaches 2%, around $160 billion could flow into Bitcoin. That figure is three times larger than the total assets of BlackRock’s IBIT, currently the world’s largest Bitcoin ETF at roughly $50 billion.

🏦 The context: Morgan Stanley has recently filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch its own spot Bitcoin ETF, with the proposed ticker MSBT.

Previously, the bank allowed clients to invest in third-party Bitcoin ETFs, but now it aims to issue its own. Coinbase will serve as the custodian for the Bitcoin, while BNY Mellon will act as the administrator.
