The dual token design of Midnight Network is created to support a more balanced and practical network economy. In this system, I use NIGHT token as main asset that help power the network and support it's long term security and participation.
From my perspective, NIGHT work as foundation of the ecosystem. When it is held or used within the network it help to generate DUST which acts as a utility token that support private transaction and smart contract activity.
I see DUST as the operational fuel that allow the network to process confidential operations without exposing sensitive information on chain. By separating value from utility my approach help the system run more efficiently while keeping privacy at the center of the Midnight Network.
