$BTC
$BTC “Pulse Trend Momentum” Strategy

Concept:
This strategy aims to capture short-to-medium term price movements by combining momentum indicators with order book sentiment and time-of-day patterns. It’s designed to reduce false signals in BTC’s volatile environment.

1. Indicators Used

1. Exponential Moving Averages (EMA) – 20 EMA & 50 EMA

20 EMA reacts quickly to short-term moves.

50 EMA confirms the trend.

Signal: Bullish when 20 EMA > 50 EMA; bearish when 20 EMA < 50 EMA.

2. Relative Strength Index (RSI) – 14 Period

Measures overbought/oversold conditions.

Signal: Enter long when RSI < 35 and trend is bullish; enter short when RSI > 65 and trend is bearish.

3. Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP)

Detects institutional buying/selling.

Signal: Price above VWAP supports long positions; price below VWAP supports shorts.

4. Order Book Imbalance (Optional, for advanced users)

Look at BTC/USD order book depth: large buy vs sell walls.

Signal: If buy walls exceed sell walls by > 3x, bullish; if sell walls exceed buy walls by > 3x, bearish.

2. Entry Rules

Long Entry:

1. 20 EMA > 50 EMA (bullish trend).

2. RSI crosses above 35 from below.

3. Price is above VWAP.

4. Optional: Buy wall imbalance confirms momentum.
Short Entry:

1. 20 EMA < 50 EMA (bearish trend).

2. RSI crosses below 65 from above.

3. Price is below VWAP.

4. Optional: Sell wall imbalance confirms pressure.

3. Exit Rules

Take Profit:

Set 1.5x the risk (risk = entry to stop loss).

Or trail with 20 EMA as dynamic stop.
Stop Loss:

1–2% below recent swing low for longs, above recent swing high for shorts.

Can use ATR (Average True Range) for volatility-adjusted stop.

4. Risk Management

Risk max 1–2% of total portfolio per trade.
