The recent dump in BAKE (BakeryToken) was triggered mainly due to Binance’s delisting announcement. According to the official notice, BAKE/USDT trading will end on 17th September 2025. Such announcements usually create panic selling as traders and investors rush to exit before liquidity disappears.
What is BAKE?
BAKE (BakeryToken) is the native token of BakerySwap, a DeFi platform on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) that offered AMM (Automated Market Making), NFT marketplace, and yield farming. It was one of the earliest BSC projects during the 2020–2021 DeFi boom but gradually lost traction as newer ecosystems (Ethereum L2s, Solana, Base, etc.) gained dominance.
Companies/Entities Holding It
BAKE is community-driven, but a large share was historically held by early adopters and the BakerySwap team.
Some centralized exchanges (Binance, Gate, KuCoin, etc.) listed it, but liquidity is now shrinking rapidly with Binance pulling out.
On-chain analysis has shown that whales already started offloading since mid-2024 when activity on BakerySwap dropped.
Why the Dump Happened
1. Delisting news – The biggest trigger. Traders panic-sold after Binance’s announcement.
2. Low utility – BakerySwap is no longer competitive against platforms like PancakeSwap, Uniswap, or GMX.
3. Volume drying up – Daily volumes collapsed, making it vulnerable to volatility and dumps.
Should You Invest?
❌ At this stage, BAKE is extremely high-risk.
Once delisted, it loses most of its liquidity and retail exposure.
Holding such coins usually traps investors as it becomes harder to sell later.
Only hardcore speculators may consider it for short-term bounces before the delisting deadline.
Technical Analysis (4H Chart Snapshot)
Current Price: $0.0376
24H High: $0.0408
24H Low: $0.0365
Key Support: $0.0360 (if broken, next stop could be $0.0300).
Resistance: $0.0450 – $0.0500 (any bounce likely capped here).
Trend: Strongly bearish, continuous lower lows after the crash from $0.0908. Risk of further downside as sellers dominate. Only possible bounce trades for scalpers; long-term holding not advisable.
Treat BAKE as a warning example of what happens when a project loses relevance and gets delisted. It’s not a good idea for safe investment anymore.
