SOMI Traders Double Down on 8× Short—Hype or Headfake?
$SOMI
Hook: The SOMI market just pulled a curious move—an aggressive 8× short position just showed up on TradingView, and it’s feeling like a dare.
That chart—tagged “SOMIUSDT – SHORT POSITION – 8X” and posted by a user called dianasbow—doesn’t come with flashy context or recommendation. Just a clean label: “analysis only… your profit or loss is your business… no advice.” It’s a bold snapshot of sentiment.
Here’s where it gets interesting. That short position arrives just as SOMI’s price is ripping higher—up more than 1,100 percent in 24 hours, depending on the tracker you look at. Bitget reported a 1,132 percent spike, while AInvest flagged a whopping 1,147 percent run, pushing SOMI into the $0.60–$0.65 range.
So what’s going on? That short could be a contrarian bet—or a calculated trap. Traders who jumped in early now might be bracing for a sudden reversal, or testing whether SOMI’s mainnet launch and Binance hype really stick. Either way, it’s a high-stakes setup.
Keep an eye on this. If that short holds—or cracks—it may signal the next real move.
