📊 My Favorite Simple Spot Trading Strategies on Higher Timeframes

When I started trading, I used to waste hours on 5m and 15m charts. The noise was insane, and I often got stopped out. Now I mostly trade on 4H and Daily timeframes — it’s calmer, cleaner, and much more reliable. 🚀

Here are 3 simple strategies I personally use:

1️⃣ Support Bounce + RSI Confirmation

Wait for price to touch a strong support zone.

Check RSI — if it’s in the oversold zone (<30), it’s a strong entry signal.

Enter long with a stop slightly below support.

2️⃣ Resistance Breakout + MACD Cross

Identify a key resistance level.

If price breaks above it AND the MACD histogram turns positive, I enter.

Safer to wait for a retest before going heavy.

3️⃣ Range Trading with Bollinger Bands

In sideways markets, I buy near the lower band and sell near the upper band.

Works best when volume is low and trend is flat.

⚠️ Pro tip: Don’t overcomplicate things. Focus on 1–2 strategies, use proper stop-loss, and always look at the bigger picture. 📈
