Kane Wav, a 26-year-old entrepreneur and fintech founder, today announced the launch of Veil Bank, a next-generation privacy-first omni-bank designed to unify traditional banking, digital assets, and cross-border payments into a single platform.
Wav enters the banking sector after several years building companies and products at the intersection of financial technology, crypto infrastructure, and digital commerce. His experience spans product development, growth strategy, community-driven platforms, and international business operations across North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
Unlike many first-time founders, Kane has operated inside the crypto and fintech ecosystem through multiple market cycles, working directly with payment providers, liquidity platforms, compliance partners, and Web3 infrastructure teams.
“Most people my age build apps,” Kane said.
“I wanted to build infrastructure.”
Background
Kane began his entrepreneurial career in his early 20s after leaving college to build businesses across multiple sectors, including nightlife, real estate, logistics, and financial markets.
He first scaled a nightlife and hospitality company, managing venue operations, marketing, and cash-flow-driven businesses in highly competitive urban markets.
During the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown, Kane pivoted into medical supply distribution, coordinating procurement and delivery of critical equipment to hospitals and healthcare providers during global supply chain shortages. This experience exposed him to institutional finance, trade settlement delays, and regulatory bottlenecks at scale.
He later transitioned into real estate, building and operating a global short-term rental portfolio exceeding 70 Airbnb properties across multiple countries. This provided direct exposure to international banking, cross-border settlements, property financing, FX friction, and operational liquidity management.
Parallel to this, Kane became deeply embedded in the cryptocurrency ecosystem as a full-time trader, community builder, and ecosystem operator. He later expanded into crypto advisory, early-stage investing, and incubation of Web3 startups across infrastructure, DeFi, and fintech tooling.
He has advised multiple early-stage blockchain companies on:
Tokenomics
Go-to-market strategy
Liquidity design
Regulatory positioning
Kane is also an active motivational speaker, regularly addressing founder communities and private investor groups on entrepreneurship, financial systems, and digital markets.
In parallel, he co-founded and helped grow a global private equity and investor mastermind network, The Circle Syndicate, hosting private events across North America, Asia, and the Middle East, facilitating capital introductions and strategic partnerships. Through this network, member firms have collectively raised over $75 million USD in the last three years across technology, fintech, and digital asset ventures.
Across these ventures, Kane managed:
Multi-currency accounts
International payroll
Crypto liquidity
Treasury operations
Merchant processing
Cross-border payments
His work exposed him early to the operational reality behind modern banking: fragmented systems, outdated settlement rails, jurisdictional friction, opaque fees, and declining financial privacy.
After running businesses that required managing global financial operations, Wav encountered the same limitations repeatedly:
Slow international settlements
Inconsistent access to banking based on nationality
High fees hidden in FX spreads
Fragmented tools across 5–10 platforms
Loss of privacy by default
Compliance systems hostile to legitimate users and founders
“These weren’t edge cases,” Wav said.
“They were structural failures.”
Mission
Veil Bank’s mission is to modernize how money moves globally by merging:
Traditional fiat banking
Digital asset infrastructure
Virtual and physical card networks
Cross-border payments
On-chain settlement rails
AI-driven financial tooling
Privacy-preserving architecture
…into a single regulated financial stack.
The company aims to serve founders, remote workers, international businesses, and digital-native users who operate across borders and asset classes.
“We are building the bank the internet economy actually needs,” Wav said.
“Not another interface on top of 1970s infrastructure.”
Values
Kane built Veil Bank around four core principles:
User sovereignty — Customers should control their money, data, and financial footprint.
Privacy by design — Financial privacy is a civil and economic right, not a feature toggle.
Transparency — Clear fees, visible settlement, auditable systems.
Global access — Financial tools should not depend on geography or legacy status.
“Banks forgot they work for users,” Wav said.
“We’re fixing that.”
Why Veil Bank
Kane founded Veil Bank after concluding that incremental fintech products would not solve systemic issues.
“Neobanks made banking prettier,” he said.
“They didn’t make it better.”
Veil Bank is designed as an omni-bank — a unified platform combining banking, payments, crypto rails, business accounts, and programmable financial services, built on modern infrastructure rather than patched onto legacy systems.
The company is currently building partnerships across compliance, custody, payments, and blockchain infrastructure providers while assembling an international advisory board spanning fintech, cybersecurity, and digital asset markets.
