According to Odaily, James Butterfill, the Research Director at CoinShares, has stated that the recent Bitcoin ETF 13F filings submitted to the SEC have only captured a limited amount of data. So far, 25% of the disclosed data represents a holding size of $15 billion.

There are over 1900 institutions/companies in the United States holding Bitcoin spot ETFs, with an average Bitcoin allocation of 0.6% in their portfolios. The Bitcoin holdings of hedge funds, private equity, and holding companies account for 2.1%, 1.5%, and 1% respectively.
