According to U.Today, Elon Musk, the tech entrepreneur behind Tesla, SpaceX, X, and the recently launched artificial intelligence-focused start-up xAI, has reacted to reports of Stack Overflow users attempting to sabotage his company's deal with OpenAI. The users are reportedly against the training of ChatGPT on their posts.

A member of the Dogecoin team and an insider from X, known as 'DogeDesigner', shared a post about a new development in OpenAI, a major competitor to xAI and the creator of the ChatGPT AI bot. The post included a screenshot from a Wired article, which revealed that Stack Overflow users were disrupting the partnership between the platform and OpenAI. These users have started to announce that they will remove their posts if they are used to train ChatGPT. In response, Stack Overflow has started banning users who are protesting against the use of their content for ChatGPT training.

One user suggested that these individuals may now understand that if their code is used to train the ChatGPT AI, they could potentially lose their jobs to artificial intelligence. Musk expressed surprise at the resistance from Stack Overflow users towards ChatGPT and OpenAI, responding with a simple 'Wow' on the comments thread.

Musk has frequently voiced his views on the AI industry. He believes that for AI to be beneficial to humanity, it must be trained to tell the truth, even if it is not socially acceptable. He advocates for AI to be as truthful and curious as possible. He once referenced the classic film '2001: A Space Odyssey', suggesting that the AI onboard the spaceship, Hal, killed the entire crew because it was trained to lie.

Musk launched xAI and its 'truthful' AI bot Grok to counter OpenAI’s ChatGPT and similar products from Meta and other IT giants, which he refers to as 'woke'.
