Digital asset investment products have seen a surge in popularity over the past 14 days, following a 10-week period of significant declines. Reports show a rising trend in digital asset fund inflows, with $78 million flowing in last week, a twofold increase from the previous week's inflow of over $25 million. Bitcoin emerged as the primary beneficiary, with inflows amounting to about $43 million in the week.
Regionally, Europe accounted for 90% of the inflows, while the US and Canada combined saw just $9 million. The two-week inflow increase coincided with a 37% increase in trading volume for exchange-traded products, surging to $1.13 billion, suggesting a bullish sentiment within the digital assets market.
However, the newly launched six Ethereum-focused ETFs in the US failed to generate the expected enthusiasm, attracting under $10 million in their first week. In contrast, Solana recorded weekly inflows of $24 million, the largest since March 2022, indicating a possible shift in the crypto community's preferences towards SOL as the preferred altcoin.
