Trump pledged to support the Bitcoin industry, promising, "We will have more power plants to produce energy for miners. The US will be the crypto powerhouse of the planet." He declared his intention to make America the superpower of Bitcoin and lead the way if Bitcoin reaches new heights. Addressing regulatory concerns, he said, "I know the SEC is tough on you, but because of me, they're leaving you alone." Trump highlighted the growing adoption of crypto, noting, "75 million people are involved in crypto – that's a lot of people."
Trump outlined his vision for the future of Bitcoin, stating, "We will keep every Bitcoin job in the US and appoint a council to help the industry reach its full potential. I will ban CBDCs and defend the right to self-custody. You will have a thriving industry, not one that's demolished. We will restore freedom of transaction and speech, and ensure a regulatory framework for stablecoins." He argued that Bitcoin is not a threat to the dollar, calling such views backward thinking. Instead, he warned, "The real danger to financial freedom does not come from Bitcoin." Trump pledged to end the inflation nightmare, acknowledging that "Bitcoiners understand the dangers of inflation better than anyone else."
