Okay I think I finally learned something real today!!
So I was watching this video with a guy yelling “STAKING IS PASSIVE INCOME!!” and I got curious.

Apparently… you can lock your coins and get more of them just for keeping them there??
Like a crypto savings account??
I’m sure it’s way more complicated than that but OMG — why did nobody tell me this sooner??

I don’t understand APR vs APY (is it interest math?? help 🧠), but if I had just staked my coins earlier maybe I wouldn’t be down so bad rn 😭

Anyone here actually staking stuff? Which coins are even safe to stake?
Asking before I do something dumb again 😅

So I’ve been reading about “blockchains” for like two days straight and I still have no idea what they actually are.
Is it bad if I’m investing and I can’t explain what a node or a validator even is? 🙈

I hear people say “DYOR” all the time but what if your research just makes you more confused?
All I know is some coins go up, some go down, and sometimes Elon tweets and things go crazy. That’s literally my current understanding of crypto.

Do you think it's okay to learn while doing?
Or am I just setting myself up to lose money?
I promise I’m trying 😅
