What Stood Out to Me While Studying Walrus’ Design
While researching Walrus, I expected complex diagrams and heavy math. What surprised me was how practical the design choices are. Every part of Walrus exists to answer one question: “Can we prove this data is actually there?”
Instead of trusting storage providers, Walrus forces honesty through its system design. Nodes are rewarded only if they can prove availability. That’s a mindset shift. In my view, this turns storage from a promise into a measurable service.
This approach feels aligned with how crypto should work — don’t trust, verify.
@Walrus 🦭/acc applies that philosophy to data itself, which is something many blockchains still ignore.
