On September 24 in the UAE, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh held an important meeting with Binance CEO Richard Teng. During the discussion, the Deputy PM officially suggested that Binance open an office in Da Nang 🌏 and actively participate in building the international financial center of Vietnam.
Not only that, he also invited Richard Teng to become a senior advisor to support Vietnam’s strategic push into blockchain and digital asset innovation. ✨
📑 A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Binance and the Da Nang People’s Committee. Binance committed to:

Assisting in the creation of a licensed cryptocurrency exchange in Vietnam
Supporting the development of Vietnam’s financial sandbox for digital assets ⚡
Vietnam is currently piloting a 5-year crypto market program under Resolution 5, where licensed companies such as CAEX, TCEX, VIXEX along with major banks like MB, VPBank, and SSI are preparing to participate.
In addition, the Deputy PM also met with Bybit (with 2.5M+ users in Vietnam), which promised to provide legal support, training, and international expertise. 🏆 He further encouraged Emaar Properties, a global real estate giant, to consider direct or indirect investments through Vietnam’s financial center.
