$ASTER — My Current Take on the New Hype Project
ASTER is easily one of the most talked-about new launches right now. Born from the merger of Astherus and APX Finance, it officially went live on September 17 2025 with a TGE price around $0.02 — and then absolutely exploded. Within days it pumped over 7,000 %, touching the $2 zone after major exchange listings and a subtle nod from CZ himself.
On-chain data confirms big whale action: roughly 50 million ASTER were withdrawn from exchanges and distributed into about ten wallets, hinting at early accumulation rather than pure hype. Open interest on derivatives also skyrocketed, even overtaking Hyperliquid’s daily volume for a short period — that’s a serious signal of market attention.
Right now, momentum is still strong but volatility is extreme. The main resistance sits around $2.20 – $2.30, while immediate support is near $1.75 – $1.80. A clean candle close above $2.30 with heavy volume could open a straight move toward $2.80 – $3.00. But if the breakout fails, I’m watching $1.60 – $1.70 for a healthy retest and reload zone.
The hype is there, but I’m focusing on structure. Volume confirmation matters — low-liquidity pumps at these levels usually fade fast. If whales continue to pull tokens off exchanges and BTC stays steady, this setup could extend into another impulsive leg.
