OpenAI will start testing advertising in the free version of ChatGPT and the new Go tariff for $8 per month, said the company's CEO Sam Altman.
According to him, advertising will not affect the responses of the chatbot and will not affect the privacy of users. Ads will be clearly marked, and dialogue data will not be transferred to advertisers.
Testing starts in the coming weeks. Paid tariffs Pro, Business and Enterprise will remain completely free of advertising.
