According to Sina Finance, preliminary data from ADP Research and the Stanford Digital Economy Lab showed that U.S. private-sector employment increased by an average of 9,500 people per week in the four weeks through August 1. ADP previously reported that private payrolls rose by 44,000 in July, and it has been publishing weekly data with the Stanford Digital Economy Lab since October 28 last year.
