The more I read about OpenGradient, the more I find myself thinking about the parts that aren't finished yet, not just the ones that already work. One thing that caught my attention was the "coming soon" label next to data nodes. At first I didn't think much of it, but the more I looked into it, the more important it seemed. The model can already run inside a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), which helps prove that the computation happened as expected. But that only covers the model's execution. It doesn't automatically prove that the data going into the model was trusted in the first place. For simple prompts, that may not be a big issue. But if an AI agent is making decisions based on live market data, protocol updates, or other real-time information, then the quality of the input matters just as much as the quality of the model's output. It makes me wonder how developers are handling that today. Are they relying on external data sources until data nodes are available, or are they adding their own ways to improve trust? Overall, I think the architecture is heading in a strong direction. I'm just interested to see how this final piece comes together. Once trusted data becomes part of the same verifiable workflow as the model itself, the whole system could become much more reliable.
